About

The AAPI Victory Power Fund is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization focused on strengthening American democracy by tapping into the collective power of more than 11.1 million Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander voters across the United States. With our votes, we can fill the halls of power with faces and voices that reflect our communities, share our values and serve our interests.

According to data from the Pew Research Center in 2020, the AAPI community is the fastest growing electorate in the country, among all major racial and ethnic groups. During the 2020 general elections, over 11.1 million AAPIs were eligible to vote which is 5% of the national electorate. In the past two decades, the number of AAPI voters more than doubled, growing by 139%, in comparison to other racial groups in the country.

Our AAPI electorate is a diverse and our voters trace their roots to countries in East and Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent. Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese – these six ethnic group alone account for the majority of AAPI voters.

AAPI voters are dispersed all across the Unites States, but more than half live in three states: California, New York and Texas. The state of California is home to 35% of the AAPI electorate (approximately 3.6 million). The state with the second-most AAPI eligible voters is New York (920,000), followed by Texas (698,000).
